James Pfeiffer is an integral part of the TSIB team as the Director of Wrap-Up Sales. He has over 16 years of experience in the insurance industry and understands both the client’s perspective as well as the Broker’s. In the past, he was a Risk Manager for Las Vegas Sands Corp and worked with the company’s insurance Broker to place policies covering risks in both the U.S. and internationally.

In the past James managed the Turner Construction Company account, which included placing coverages for their corporate insurance as well as their Rolling CCIP. Turner has the largest Rolling CCIP in the U.S. and managing that exposure has given him a wealth of experience that can be applied to other clients seeking similar CCIP or OCIP solutions on their projects.

James also partners with insurance brokers outside of TSIB, assisting them with the placement of Wrap-Ups, which prevents them from losing that client to a competitor. Organizations like Brown & Brown, CBIZ, and Cross Insurance have benefited from this consulting to administrative services approach. Brokers with clients wanting to utilize Wrap-Ups can retain broker fees that could be lost to a competitor, while utilizing TSIB’s administrative services to back them up.

James’ unique blend of perspectives of being both the Broker and the “client” have aided to him to being able to advise clients on Risk Management, Alternative Risk Financing, and Insurance Procurement in various market sectors. He knows what his clients are looking for and deeply desires to add value to them as they strive to meet their business goals.

James graduated from Southern CT State University with a degree in Applied Mathematics.
